Life is tough, things happen and the unexpected (or even the expected) can get the best of you. But you are tougher and more resilient than you realize. Take a few moments to pause, reflect, and regroup.

Self-care is something that we often talk about but something that we rarely implement into our regular routine.
Physical exercise has been shown to have positive effects on our physical and mental health. Even doing a few minutes of exercise a day can be beneficial.
Yoga
Take a walk
Stretching
Get a massage
Mental self-care involves doing things to disconnect from the day-to-day stress that we deal with on a daily basis.
Organize a room
Listen to an educational video or podcast
Do a puzzle, crossword, or similar brain-teaser
Emotional self-care involves taking care of yourself emotionally.
Look through old photos or videos of times that bring joy
Call/reconnect with a friend
Spend sometime journaling
Sensory self-care involves taking care of your senses and doing things that make you feel good
Take a shower with scented soaps or shampoos (beware of sensitive skin)
Change your bedding to fresh sheets
Eating Meals
Exercise
Video Games
Flip the Script
Try changing your wording from "I have to..." to "I get to..."
Use 'and' instead of 'but'.
